Corkian Amplifier

I'm trying to figure out if it's op or not. Anyone know if there's any information on if/how rounding affects this equation?

 

The roll I assume is the overall % of how good the item is with the "boost" being the 10% from the Corkian Amplifier. If you have Wynntills it will usually show you that % right next to the name. Assuming you had a 50% overall item, you can put it into the equation above, .5 + (1.3-.5)*.1= .58 overall then possibly.

 

That's wrong. The equation applies to the internal modifier which ranges from 0.3 to 1.3. That number is then multiplied by the base value and then rounded to the nearest integer to get the value you see on the item.

 

that formule basically makes the id range 0.43 - 1.3 rather than 0.3-1.3.
Do we know how they work with negative ids? If it's still roll + (1.3 - roll) * boost, that'd make it alot worse.

Edit: I'm an absolute buffoon and the id range would basically be 0.4-1.3

 

The new range for positive ids would be 0.4, not 0.43, plugging in the lowest possible roll of 0.3

 

You should have seen the Warp that @PikaPrince rolled. Probably the worst warp in the game. Cork amps don't immediately make them 10x better.
