Grindspots Are Dead?

I've looked around at the old spots I would use to level my characters. The landmarks and their mobs are virtually gone. What happened?

 

Hi, there's an ongoing discussion about the changes to grindspots going on here
A lot of grindspots were removed, but it is important to note that not all of them were removed. Additionally, slaying XP tomes were added, and are available from Nest of the Grootslang, a level 57 raid, iirc.

 

I see, the reason for the nerf was surely justified. I wonder how my trip to Olux will be like now?
