    Are you sure you think of the right quest? There is nothing bookshelf related in Reclaiming the House. You need a bookshelve code in Iron Heart II, but other than that I don't really know what you mean.

    honestly up to you, but if you reject his offer you get some decent pants with decent xp bonus, and if you accept his offer you get some pants with decent loot bonus (I'd take the xp pants but like I said its your choice)
