What time periods is the world set in? My best guess is:

    Wynn & Gavel: 1850s
    Corkus: 1920s

I think they're separate from our time periods, maybe measured in their own form of time. There's no way places like Maltic and Ragni can exist as the standard of civilisation when there's buildings like the Fallen Factory just across the ocean if it was based off of our history

Anyways, theres a bunch of factors which influences the difference of technology which is translated into the real world time periods. The reason why Corkus is beating everyone else in technology, is because of its breakthrough in electromagic and its closed borders (until recently) which stops information from reaching the other provinces.

This might just be me being dumb, but how does Corkus making advancements in electromagic translate to real time? I guess it could maybe be the industrial revolution or around that timeframe, but then again they have a literal supercomputer in their factory lol

It could be like while China has gunpowder and already has a primitive form of gun. the other civilisations are using swords and bows etc in like 1000AD

i would say 1800s as quartz is known for being magical batteries, while in real life the piezoelectric properties of quartz were discovered in 1800s. also judging from ship design and pirates

1000 AP is when we the player first arrived at Wynn from Fruma. I doubt it takes just a year for us to all of those quests that are available throughout the realm, which is why I approximated current logical timeline to be some years after 1000 AP.

Think of Europe and Russia around the industrial revolution. Even now, there are countless primitive tribes still left in the world - not saying ragni is a primitive tribe but you get the point, areas develop differently to others and at different rates.

Well considering there's 2 Quests that center around Christmas time, I think its safe to say that from when you first enter Wynn 1000AP to entering/completing the Silent Expanse, two years have passed (1002AP). Unless you do both Christmas Quests back to back in which case it could just be 1001 AP that or the Wynncraft year doesn't end after Christmas and we're still in the year 1000AP.

Craftmas Chaos doesn't start at Christmas. Santa says "You have to wait until Christmas for your present" when you first meet him, and the quest reward is an "early Christmas present".

Wynn 1100-1400s (Architechture and weaponry wise it would be set in this period, there are lots of divergants to this in the form of "out of place artifacts", historically things that should not exist. Like the 2200 year old mechanical cogs they found in Ancient Greece or the 400 million year old London hammer among other things, very interesting stuff. But the majority is set in the 1100-1400s

Gavel: More advanced structures and techniques, placed within 1650-late 1700s but a lot of this province is fantastical so it's hard to have a set date

    Corkus: Futuristic effectively

    That's very interesting!

I think Wynn is probably in the 1400's - 1600's now considering the Medieval structure and the housing with horses and stuff.

I know that Llevigar has engineering and robots, and that is probably at around 1800's to 1900's but the rest of Gavel is mainly Victorian housing or Medieval and is probably centred around the 1700's

Corkus has some electromagic, but the structure resembles a 1930's house. It is probably based around the early electrical era, which was from the late 1800's to early 1900's

I don't think it would be set in late 1500s - 1600s as in general castles had stopped being built then, there is an argument for placing it in that timespan as there are cannons in the game and ironically cannons were basically what started to make castles unpractical in defence (and people realised there were comfortable places to live!)

    Pretty advanced robots lol

Yes! This is a really good point
