SPOILER Lari Has Likely Screwed Up Gavel... Again...

In Dividing Force, it is revealed Lari is the one who keeps decay from crossing the river. She needs to actively keep the enchantment alive, or they can invade light forest.

Aaand in RoL part V, she chased down Bak'al, then went missing.

I think she meant to say the barrier to block the decay. But I agree, jumping behind Ba'kal was like the dumpest thing she could do.


I think we'll have to sacrifice Lari to enter the last dungeon XD

We know this because the lore says that the lightest light cannot stop the darkest dark, meaning that dark is stronger. Assuming that Lari and Bak'al have the same power level, Bak'al won. Or, more likely, fled.

I find it more likely that she's dead already

 

No, I think the master of Ba'kal would know that death is a fate too merciful. I think he'll take advantage of her powers. Would be a waste if he wouldn't.

 

she said she was able to handle bakal when you walk into the raid. So bakal is most likely dead. Also Lari probably stronger than the player at lvl 79 which we have already beat bob at that time making her most likely stronger than bob. Bakal from what ive heard is also corruption so he isnt actually darkness he just serves it since he came out of the nether portal.

 

Also the player should be able to handle bak’al at lvl 75+ not to mention at lvl 105.

And since Lari is Light and Dern is Dark... There is not much chance she survives, at least in clear state.
And Bak'al is quite strong, and I really doubt she could just kill him, especially in Dern....

Bak'al is Corrupted. Corruption doesn't serve Darkness.
He probably started to serve Dern Beast some time after.

Lari will likely end up corrupted/turned to darkness in Dern by Bak'al/the Dern Beast, and we'll have to heal her to destroy Dern

All this lore in the game would never have happened if Lari wasn't an idiot.

It would be very interesting to see some scenario of alternative universe (similar to A Hunter's Calling) where everything didn't went to dark side or it was stopped (for example Bak'al not entering the portal/portal not being found, Lari using her power to actually destroy the dark (at least in Gavel)).
