Uhh Salted(a Discussion On Guild Slots)

I clean my guild from inactive members literally every day, this doesn't help me ;-;

 

thank you to salted and the staff for increasing the guilds slots, although a lot of guilds still recieved cuts, these cuts are a lot more tolerable

 

Yea I dont understands how TNA is lvl 60 for 34 slots and TNI lvl 66 for 55 slots... like why have these huge bumps of 10 guild slots and not give it overtime like pre 1.20 but maybe a bit more spaced?

The best

The best "Thank You" to Salted would have been not cutting slots at all because nobody's produced a justifiably good reason for slicing a chunk of guilds' communities off and how it improves the guild game. Furthermore, the API being down prevents easy activity-checking tools from working, so the guilds such with tons of people to purge before being able to recruit again have to use tedious by-hand methods, or just ask if any members are willing to sacrifice their spots for some new blood.

You know what I have to thank Salted for: Being blind to the guild communities' greatest concerns and leaving many developed guilds in an operational gridlock of having to cope with the cut slots without the coping tools even working. Should have just left guilds completely untouched and moved it to a seperate update, or maybe taken some notes from the community and Novalescent's wonderful project. This new update is quite nice if ur not a guild leader though, once all the bugs get fixed.

 

I will say I liked Nova's project a lot more since it had actual COMMUNITY features in it but ehh as Cath once said "[guilds] are like an unwanted daughter they're now forced to pay child support for"

All community guilds got this update was lose slots, forcing guilds to have to war is just dumb when the main reason people are in guilds is for the community not for a feature that has been broken for 5 years and is more broken after the update.
