Ban Appeal For Long-ago Ban Not Working

I was banned a long time ago for spamming in the lobby and tried to make an appeal because I wanted to play again. When I try to make an appeal I can't put anything in the top text box (labeled "Username:"). I have tried putting all my past usernames on the previous screen that asks for my IGN (My name was Finley42 when I was banned and is now Guurf. I have seen a few people saying they have this same problem and were also banned a long time ago. Please help!
EDIT- I also just checked my past forum posts and saw my stupid "ban appeal" from almost 6 years ago. I wasn't hacked, I don't know why I said that I admit to spamming and being an idiot in chat.

 

I think the problem is the fact that you’ve already made a ban appeal. I’d message a moderator on the forums to remove your old one so that you can make a new one.
