/ignore Does Nothing If The Player You Want To Ignore Is Using Shouts. What Else Is There?

/ignore is nice for when there is a player spamming you with pms...but is there a /block or /mute command for if they're using shouts to be bothersome? several times ive found myself wanting to /block people that use shouts that way, but it apparently doesn't exist. is /ignore really all there is?

 

If you get the mod Wynntils you can actually turn off shout bomb messages completely.

I would recommend just sighing and moving on. Considering outside of mods like Wynntils. Which I really only recommend after you've gotten use to the GUI's and in game features: this way you can tell bugs apart from the mod or if the mod developer needs to be notified, etc etc. There isn't any way to stop seeing shouts. Ignore is so they stop connacting you directly, sorry you feel that way, but remember people who have bought shouts have helped to keep Wynncraft up, running, and free.

 

see, its nice that theyre keeping wynncraft running. but if the shouts are problematic and i cant really explain to the shouters why, i would appreciate a block function. what it boils down to is people paying for everyone to see all their casual classist and transphobic remarks. and i do have wynntils, but sometimes i actually want to see shouts in case there are any bombs and such

Just check against the rules really quickly, grab a screenshot or two and post a new thread. If they're breaking the rules, they'll more than likely get talked too. Once again sorry that someone put something nasty in shouts. Bombs are great
