Ban Appeal Not Working

Hello gents,

Some time ago I don't exactly remember when I tried playing Wynncraft after watching someones video on it and it said I was banned for using a hacked client. That was strange to me cause I never actually played the server before and then I figured out my brother was playing on my account after he got banned himself.

Today I checked again if I was still banned and when I saw I was, I tried making and appeal.
It said I already made one and it is pending, but it must have been a while ago.

(Also, I know saying your sibling cheated is very common. I do not have any sufficient proof to back me up but you can check my brothers account and you will see he is banned. I think his name at the time was DoubleMGamer but I searched on NameMC and now it is zmagojelincic. That is the only proof I have).

So this is basically my ban appeal I guess. I hope I can get unbanned cause the server looks super fun and I'd love to try it out. If not, I of course completely understand. I think it has been more than 2 years from the ban so I don't know maybe I get a second chance.

You are the only one responsible for your account. It doesn't matter if your brother or anybody else got banned; it is your fault if you cannot prevent other people from hacking on your account. There is no need for any proof, since a ban is affecting a minecraft account, not a specific person.

Everybody gets a second chance on this server, but I don't know if that pending appeal might already be counted as your second chance. You can view your old ban appeal when trying to create a new one, a message will appear with a link to your old ban appeal thread (https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/211232). Usually, it doesn't take too long for staff members to answer ban appeals, so you might ping a moderator on your ban appeal once you open it. This is completely wrong IMO. Bans do not affect accounts but rather the player playing on that account. This is why ban evading is bannable, because it stops the person from playing again, rather than the account. Another thing is that it isnt always possible to stop somebody from using your account. According to your logic, if your account gets hacked and the hacker gets you banned, you don’t deserve to be unbanned even if you get your account back and secure it.

Of course getting hacked may be an exception, the rule just menas you shouldn't deal lightly with sensitive data as your login credentials.

Then it may be good idea just personal messaging a moderator, they should be able to delete your old ban appeal.
