SPOILER Why I Love The Ct - The Best People On Wynn

The CT are forced volunteers. They spend their free time on improving Wynncraft; yet, they receive a lot of critique and hate for things they haven't even caused. But people have the wrong image of the CT. The CT doesn't decide as many things as you think they might, according to salted. They only do what they're told to, have power to and allowed to do. I have also noticed that the CT fix all bugs they have power to fix as soon as possible, it is just that the patches take such a long time to release, which isn't the CT's fault either, the management decides when patches drop. And sometimes people think the CT have responsibilities that they don't actually have, such as the other day someone wanted the ct to fix silent expanse mobs walking to detlas and killing players, they mix up dev and ct responsibilities.

The wynn CT has the best build team on minecraft. I have never seen so good structures and terrain before and I really respect the builders. They are also cool and hang on the discord. The GMs make sooo cool and unique content. They never fail to deliever and always impress. And the CMDs make seemingly impossible things possible with their unholy forms of magic, which requires true talent. And the people who make items are ok.

It isnt the CTs fault for transparency, it is actually salted who decides. Many CT that I've talked to wish there was a lot of tranparency. Many CT also leak stuff wich is cool so us, the players get to know what content is being released.

Salted is like the dictator it seems, the CT often disagree with what he decides then get the blame for it even tho it wasent their fault, such as postponing RTD and orphion. The CT sacrifices their lifes to create all of the new content but the public still blame them for everything wrong wich often isnt even their fault. Management isnt easy so dont blame salted. He makes a lot of good content too.

The CT only do what they are told, they fix the bugs soon as possible the bugs that arent't fixed are the ones that are dev related. The CT also doesent drop content it is salted who does, delaying updates even tho they been finnished months ago by constantly adding new content that was not planned causing it to be delayed, then the CT gets blamed for it.

CT are good ppl dont hate them.

How many "CT" can you find ? Get the right amount then devide it by 3 for emerald.

Look, people always seem to be looking for a person to blame for delays, or lack of bug patching, but making games isn't that easy.
Most everything they've done has had some reason behind it, its not as if Salted is throwing his hands into the wind doing whatever the fuck he wants.

The Orphion thing is a good explain, it's not coming out this update specifically because it would throw the weight of when the update lunched on the GM who was making it.
The beta bearly has a population at this point due to the amount of time its been out aswell, so testing bugs would be nearly impossible. That's not to mention that the general public isn't willing to wait much longer, people testing the fucking update thinks its fine and dandy to wait because we have acesses to it.

Waiting for Orphion to lunch the update has more issues then Sword Art Online.

I agree I think one place where the great build and game design is present is the dungeon lost sanctuary and its counterpart, corrupted lost sanctuary.
Many CT members, namely @Lex! , have acknowledged the ingenious design of this dungeon.

 

Thanks for making this thread General :) I am not part of the content team (I will be applying some time in the future) but I know that the people like to blame someone to feel in control of things they aren't happy about so that they don't feel left in the dark, a lot of the blame goes to people who don't even have anything to do with the issue. EVERYONE WHO CONTRIBUTES TO MAKING WYNNCRAFT IS AMAZING

tbh the main reason I stopped playing beta was because they said the patch cycle was almost over, so there's not really any point.
