    They aren't supposed to spawn above ground, only in the labyrinth. It's a bug as I have seen some out above the ground.

    They shouldn't spawn there - submit a bug report in the 'Bug Reports' category of the Forums.

    They spawn underground, but Wynncraft mobs like to clip through blocks to reach the surface.
