Minecraft Earth Shuts Down On June 5th

Due to the pandemic, MC Earth will be shut down on June 5th, this year. Afterwards the game will be unplayable. Thought I'd post it here.

honestly im shocked they didnt just stop working on the game and pause it for a while until the pandemic ends

 

Glad I didn't spend too much on MC Earth.

Pretty sad how it's shutting down though. It had some pretty interesting variations of mobs and the Adventures mechanic was actually pretty nice.

what's Minecraft Earth?

 

An Augmented Reality mobile game, kind of like Pokémon Go, where you can basically play Minecraft in your own home

 

Sounds a bit odd, was it any good or just a weird minecraft pocket edition?

 

It was a little laggy on my phone, but it was pretty fun. SethBling made a video on MC Earth a while back where he showed a real-life redstone contraption, you could do quite a lot
