SPOILER Theory: Haven Antiquity And It's Egg.

So, in 1.20, after doing the ultimate discovery in the dark forest, you get an item:

Now, well I haven't found the actual use for this item, as I simply couldn't find anything, I did have a thought run through my mind as soon as I saw it: Haven Antiquity.



It's a fairly basic theory, but perhaps the egg from Dead Island is from the same place, or maybe even the same one, as what we get from the ultimate discovery. Having thought of this, I ran around Dead and Alive Island a bit and found nothing. Admittedly, the skeleton of the Dead Island Thing is rather large and doesn't look much like the insect thing spreading the decay, but we also know that the insect thing cocooned itself, and metaphorized into something else, though we have no idea what, so they could still be the same creature.

So, Lex liked the post, which makes me question it's potential more.
Of course, just because a GM likes it doesn't mean it's true course.

Have you tried throwing in into the Temple of Time hopper? Every time there's an update, I think about seeing if it's got any more uses.

 

Seems the door of time doesn't work in beta, like the teleport to enter it.
So, I can't even get in to test that as of now. I doubt it, however, but it would be cool as hell if we got to sell him the egg using the door of time.

 

I have an idea that I'm checking on right now and if it's what the egg does I'll explain how to do it

my theory was that it would be someone who does alchemy around the level 70s and is obscure so i assumed that it could be the entamis village

If you mean the decay parasite I'm pretty sure it still looks the same as it did before. In the light forest ultimate discovery we see that it left its nest a few decades ago (it has to be after 886 AP and before 1000 AP) to infect Orphion by order of the Dernic Beast. Therefore it's still inside of him so I don't think it had any time or need to do a metamorphosis

 

We see its cacoon in one of the other secert discoveries.

 

just want to mention that if the haven antiquity egg was the one from the discovery then the physical item would more likely be just a dragon egg item.

It's more likely that the ''Mysterious Egg'' activates some sort of secret room somewhere in Kander or the dark and light forests. We just haven't found it yet.

 

It cocooned to regain its strength after the battle with Lari and Dullahan, not to change form. We know this because the battle was definitely before 800 AP (I think the exact date is in Headless History but I don't remember) and in the Dark Forest ultimate we see the parasite burrowing into the ground in 800 AP. Did its form change? No. Also, in the light forest ultimate, which takes place after 886 AP, it still has the same form (we see it forming a portal to somewhere, maybe Dern, and it looks exactly the same).
