Ranged Enemies Suck...

    So I ran the Sandy Tomb 5 times in a row yesterday as an Assassin, and can confirm that Miniature Snowstorms aren't the only busted ranged enemy. It is, in fact, all of them which are busted!

    Allow me to compare the two types:

    Below their Level
    Melee Enemies: Scary and powerful, but technically avoidable and conquerable, with enough skill and proper Mana management.
    Projectile Enemies: Are you in range? If yes, then no.

    (Just About) Equal to their Level
    Melee Enemies: They're not too bad - just don't let them swarm you, occasionally pop a Potion or Heal up, and you should be fine. Unless they hit that one Elemental Defense you forgot to cover up, in which case, just rearrange your gear.
    Projectile Enemies: If there's more than one, chances are that you're either barely alive or dead in the next 3 to 5 seconds. Kill them ASAP, and you might still be alive.

    Above their Level
    Melee Enemies: Steamrolled by your now-much-stronger Items. They'll do chip damage individually, and maybe hurt you when you get swarmed. You can likely one-shot them, too.
    Projectile Enemies: If 2 or more team up, you can still be hurt pretty badly...But if you're strong enough to fight these guys, then you've already made the local Melee Enemies complete jokes!

    (Interestingly enough, Shaman's Totem blocks and physically nullifies projectiles. One more reason to call it busted, eh?)

    Anyone else feel this way about the ranged enemies?

    Ranged enemies suck on assassin and warrior. Especially when you run builds without agility.

    Yeah, I don't like ranged enemies.
    As a Shaman, they're bearable (except flamethrower), but as an archer, I constantly die to them beacuse I'm trash at strafing.

    yes, I agree, ranged enemies are annoying. I never did sst at level, but assuming g its like cast those bosses are a huge pain.

    This makes me want to backpedal to s tap straightline psycomancer

    But yeah pretty much move in a circle around them and their accuracy will go to crap

    Yes and no.

    On my run through the ToA as an assasin, ranged enemies were my in my nightmares. I wasn’t using any agility, and the ludicrous damage they dealt out hit me like a freight train. I had to resort to /classing and hiding behind the armour stand in the front of the room to stay alive.

    Fast forward around 20 levels, and I was prepping myself for the Qira Hive. I was doing much better at it, circle-strafing around most mobs and I was better able to control the swarms, even with more than 10 enemies in the room at once.

    So yeah, ranged enemies may seem frustrating at first, but with more experience in the game, you should be able to handle them.

    Idk why everyone says about assassin, warrior has the worst experience with ranged mobs since you're melee but can't vanish or anything.

    Of course strafing exists, but nothing beats the panic when you're strafing but suddenly the sprint bar runs out and mana starts draining.

    The problem comes when there’s multiple ranged enemies or ranged enemies + melee enemies cuz then if you circle strafe one enemy another kills you

    assassin is annoying cuz you can get hit out of vanish, but otherwise ranged mobs are trivial

    warrior with ranged mobs: charge strafing go brrr (but it still sucks)

    Ranged mobs are often not well-balanced around the fact that they're inherently stronger than same-stat melee mobs.

    i don’t like ranged enemies in parkour areas (or any enemy in parkour for that matter -_-)

    ranged enemies are not bad if you actually dodge stuff

    though, if there are 4+ around you (same level as you), the situation can get very bad. i still 100% defienently would not say

    As a person who's played warrior for most of their time on wynncraft I 100% agree with you. Ranged enemies are total cancer. They're honestly lazy attempts at making something hard. When 4+ of them are all shooting at you, unless you can kill them quickly (which is difficult when they are all shooting at you) you're probably dead. And when they have insane fire rates there is not much you can do. If you're playing warrior or assassin, ranged mobs should be the priority 95% of the time.

    Also the fact that their entire AI is to stand still and shoot you reinforces my point of them being lazy attempts at making things hard.

    If you're playing any class, ranged mobs should almost always be the priority.

    Yes but they are waaaaaay more dangerous on warrior so if you don't kill them first there's likely no chance
