So I made this, and I got to admit, it's very weird sounding, but I like it. But it's weird. But I like it.

It sounds flat*, basically meaning I must be very bad at creating good harmonious melodies, but then somehow, it sounds a bit evil or sad. And I thought it would make a good song kinda like a "look at that, it's the BBEG (Big Bad Evil Guy) reveal moment!".

Anyways. It was actually meant to be a dungeon type song? Needless to say, plans change have. It's a spooky confrontion song. Mostly due to me getting frustrating and ended up spamming random notes.

    Weird.

    I like it.

    But weird.

I don't know. The first time it sounds off. I hear it a couple of times and then it sounds less off. And then I begun to like it. I really think this song destroys music paletes? Sorry in advance.

its good! i dont get spooky vibes from it at all. it does feel like a ravine or maybe maro peaks. the part that sounds spooky is giving me more of an adventure vibe than being spooky.

It sounds promising, I only have two things really to say about it. The first is that the way musescore is, the sound font is going to sound dull. That’s just how the program is, it uses default sound fonts. You can download your own though from their nodes that they have on their website, I’m sure someone has a good soundfont.

secondly, you wanna watch out for clashing tones, an example of where your tones clash is beat 4 of measure 22 with the 8th note passing tones. Two notes (namely the D and Eb clash because they are harmonically equivalent to D and D#, which is a half step away). So make sure you don’t have many clashing tones unless the intent is to add dissonance to the piece; which I don’t think you are because it’s in E major and it sounds Constant.

TL;DR (less theory talk), sounds good! Watch out for clashing notes.

    But overall a good piece

I can hear hints of Gavel Journey and Icy Steps. I like the solo Clav(icade?) and the drum section but other than that, the melody is... interesting.
