Better Solo Class- Assassin Vs Shaman

Just bought Hero rank, wanna start a new character and just blast through everything in the game over break. Can't decide which class to pick, so which would preform better solo, and be fun?

Shaman will be quite nerfed in 1.20, so I would recommend assassin

EDIT: assassin of course, not archer

 

Definitely assassin. They’re both on par when it comes to power but assassin is more fun to play and has better mobility

 

Having not played the beta version where Shaman is greatly nerfed - I would say Shaman, but 1.20 will probably make Assassin better.

 

If you are playing solo, boss fights would be a lot harder on a shaman than on an assassin, especially with the future shaman nerfs, though its easily possible to solo with any class. I wouldn't think about it too much and rather go with the class you most enjoy playing.
