I recently started grinding professions in order to craft things

How do to i craft good weapons and potions , is there anything i should be aware of about crafting as a beginner?

There will be many, many hours of mindless grind, so do not do them if you are on your first playthrough

And if you are really decided, craft only during prof parties

Until level 90 crafted armor/weapons are almost always worse than regular gear and are not worth the time investment (unless you are on craftsman or speedruning).

Level 90+ crafted items can outpreform even mythics, but crafteds can only focus on a fre stats. Its almost always better to just focus on damage on weapons and use armor/accesories to get other ids rather than actually making a uniqe weapon.

Consumables have a use in all stages of the game, but they are not necesary and of you want a good consumable its going to cost a lot in mats. Things like auraspam and dried gills are very usefull.

Instead of leveling profesions id recomend geting a recepie (make one yourself with wynndata or ask in crafting recepies), then get the materials/ings and get someone in the prof tryhard discord to craft it for you.

nah crafted items, even at low levels, can out preform standard items, and will last longer too. While I wouldn't say its exactly worth the time investment, they definitely can be pretty good. Crafted items also arent always bound to a few stats, and the ability to have an item tailormade to what you need is an amazing quality that crafted items can provide.

But yeah, if you only need 1 or 2 items, then its not worth the time investment to level those skills up, unless youre just super stubborn.

and yeah, wouldnt recommend them on your first playthrough

If you're ign is indeed the same as your forums name, it looks like you are not on your first playthrough.

Tailoring and Jeweling are the most profitable for making lq things, followed by consumables

plllsssss don't do profs until you get a maxxed character, and even then, profs are just a waste of time. If you do them, do consumables or lq gear ig...

if you like doing profs, that’s totally fine! Everyone plays the game differently :)

If you’re on your first playthrough, it is recommended not to do them though, because as it’s been said they are very long and grindy, and can make it harder to enjoy your first playthrough.

however, if you’ve done the game, or if you really do want to go into profs there is a prof tryhard discord I believe that can help you more than I can :)
