    Hi!

Can I please have some advice on some of my builds? (BTW the statue was my first real attempt at an organic of that size)

So quick disclaimer: I'm terrible at building, so take my advice with the tiniest pinch of salt. I literally have next to no experience building, outside of copying block-for-block tutorials. XD

For the first three images, the marketplace and the gazebo: they're at awkward angles and I am very unused to your FOV, so it's hard for me to see the builds. In the first image, the grey market stall to the left looks, to me, like it might fall over. IMO it should curve inward more than it is, so it looks more supported. I like how you mixed glazed terracotta with the wool, though. It adds some nice texturing to the build. I think adding maybe some stone brick slabs or cobblestone slabs on the awning (is that what it's called? I'm not sure) might make it look less blocky. It's hard to tell if you've already done that, though, because of the angle. The gazebo looks nice, but the base of it looks a bit awkward to me, and I think it could do with more depth or detail, or maybe even shortening it a bit would be an improvement.

The fourth image, in my opinion, looks a bit too blocky, especially the top of the archway, and I'm not really a fan of how dark the clay looks against the quartz. (Which is odd of me, considering I'm a huge fan of tudor houses.) I think a lighter block would look better, or maybe just if you added more texturing to it.

The next two images are at odd angles so I can't really see what the build is supposed to be, but I really like the veins of diamonds in the stone. It looks really good, and adds depth to the build.

I can't see the prismarine house at this angle and distance, but IMO the wall behind it looks a bit off, though I can't exactly put my finger on why. (I know, that's very unhelpful.) It just . . . doesn't really fit the picture of medieval, in my mind, and the roofs of the towers look as though they should jut out more from their supports, maybe just one more block out than they are now.

    And the trees look lovely!

I agree with eggwrap that the fov is a bit weird, and imo the stalls need a bit more backing, they feel a bit like stage props rn. But over very good, the trees look lovely

Your terrain starts and ends abruptly. Kind of looks weird. The trees and that person look amazing though

I'm not a pro at organics, but I'd consider myself pretty good. So here are a few tips on the last one:
    • I'd suggest smoothing out more (by hand), the leg on the right looks a bit rough
    • Usually for coloring, I'd make it one block and the darker/lighter areas a different block (I'll use 50% of each type so it's more natural)
    • The hands have too much distance between fingers
    • For the head, I usually get one large sphere and a smaller sphere (on the bottom) and blend them together
    • This tutorial is very helpful in my opinion
