    Hey there guys,

Joined this really impressive server about 4 days ago and been nolifing since.
I just turned lvl. 40 and I realised I was getting curious about the endgame of the server.
Does the server just kind of lose its fun once you're done with all the quests or is there enough to do afterwards?

    Thanks for your replies!

There are things to do in the endgame, though most of the game is centered around the non-endgame part. Many people start new classes, possibly even with challenge modes such as Ironman.

There is endgame content though, such as combat challenges like Legendary Island, professions, 104+ combat level, guilds, and more. The new update, 1.20, will add Raids, new types of group-based combat challenges, housing and a guild war rework, so there is more stuff to do then. I personally also just like exploring the world, finding all sorts of hidden secrets.

One of the main aspects of the game that has kept me playing it for long is the community, and the amount of stuff you can do there. There are many "subcommunities", such as the class builds community, the lore community, the profession community and more. Overrall, the Wynncraft community is probably the main thing I get involved in while being an endgame player.

Personally I think the endgame is lacking. Doing proffessions is boring so getting them up to a high level as of now is just tedious work for nothing. What I usually do is to just hop on my character jump around a town, usually Detlas, and play on a new playthrough. However the endgame might get improved in the next update dropping soon. But don't worry about it. You are just level 40 and have many more hours before you get close to endgame.

I plan on clicking chests and getting purple boxes, and then eventually using the money to "give back to the community" interpret that how you will
But the endgame is far from lacking, I've been playing for 2 months and I'm still very satisfied

Imo there isn't much to do in endgame, I think the main aspect is in the path towards it. Doing quests, exploring, being part of this community busting other's theories...

I think the late-game is pretty good - depending on how you view it and also what you're willing to do/put up with. I'll elaborate.
Let's say you've completed your first class all the way up to level 105 (or 106) and done all of the quests, dungeons and secret discoveries. Under these circumstances, I would consider that class 'complete' (maybe also including LI).
I would then argue that you're actually only one-fifth of the way through as there are 4 other unique classes to play through. (although doing every discovery on them might not be worth it).

Even once you've done all 5 classes (which is what I would consider to be a real full-game completion), there's still plenty to do:
Professions (albeit grindy) can be very rewarding in terms of money and gear that's made.
Lootrunning can be very lucrative due to the chance of finding mythics
Joining a guild and warring can also be fun (plus meeting new people can be great!)
Running endgame content again (such as LI, EO or even some corrupted dungeons) can be useful in order to get some good gear if you want to make a great build
And finally, 1.20 is bringing Raids, Forgery chest and far more guild content - all 3 of which will add much more to do in the game.

I think a lot of people here are neglecting build crafting and testing, which I consider to be one of the biggest parts of the endgame. Beyond that, there are currently three main repeatable activities in the endgame, which are Legendary Island, Boss Altars, and Eldritch Outlook. Guilds and Guild wars can also fall under this, but unless you’re in an active guild you probably won’t be warring that often. A lot of people also try to get to level 106, which usually involves CUR runs. There’s also loot running, but it’s A. Not really an official activity in that there isn’t any official support for it, and B. Not really combat or build focused since you’re kind of pigeonholed into a loot set. It’s probably the most rewarding “activity”, though. Professions are also not combat focused and kind of just there. Finally, there are repeat playthroughs and challenge modes if you want to go for them.

Currently I think the main problem plaguing the endgame is a lack of rewards. Pretty much the only activity that gives rewards in any large capacity is loot runs, which is why that’s basically all anyone ever does to try and get mythics. The rest of the game either has rewards with set IDs, which adds a hard limit to the amount of runs it takes for activities to remain rewarding, or in the case of Boss Altars have specific drops with random IDs, which is a system I love but also makes boss altars not useful if you don’t need their items. Bosses like Qira don’t give any rewards on repeat battles.

1.20 is adding about three or four new endgame activities and is updating or revamping another few. The first three are the new raids, which are probably the biggest mew endgame drop we’ve ever had. The fourth is a new boss altar for level 100+. They’re also revamping the forgery with a new rewards system, reworking guilds and guild wars entirely, and increasing the difficulty of LI and EO.

Damn I'm going to be honest with you guys, I kind of wish I didn't ask lmao.
It feels nice to work towards something while questing but it kind of seems like you're working towards nothing.
Grinding out professions for no reason doesn't seem like that much fun to me.
Isn't there like a PvP arena or anything like that where you can actually try to get better and better?

If you ask me there is a lot of fun endgame content. There is a lot, but a lot sadly can never be enough. The reality of the situation is that eventually the time you spend at max level far eclipses the amount of content (i.e. an infinite amount of time). That said, it's still worth getting to the endgame, there just isn't that much point in staying for a really long time unless you're super dedicated.

so I think the best thing you can do is join an active guild and level another class.
