(theory) Yahya Is The Dern Beast

This may seem like a sh*t post, it's not. Yes this is a real serious theory that my crazy mind has come up with.

SO, we see Yahya in three places in Wynncraft, in the Nivla Forest, in Shattered Minds, and I think in all the light storyline discoveries and stuff but we'll get to that.

So in each time where we see Yahya, we see that he is addicted to mushrooms, and he lives in an area of the Nivla Forest which despite being quite far from the Black Road, is infested with mushrooms. Now, if you have followed crafted movie lore, you'll know that Peppered is a mooshroom, and Salted's greates enemy, and if you pay attention you'll notice that many churches in Wynncraft have Salted's head in them, which along with the fact that the priests are called 'bovemists' suggests that Salted is a god, and I would take that to mean that he is the ultimate incarnation of light. By extension this would mean that Peppered is the incarnation of darkness. There is more evidence to support this considering that the black road, the road that leads to the Silent Expanse, is infested with mushrooms.

So now I've shown least a remote correlation between Yahya and darkness, let's keep going.


In shattered minds, we see him as 'Yahya - The Final Form'. He has several spells here, but most importantly is level NINE THOUSAND AND ONE, suggesting that he is clearly a very powerful creature, but what does this have to do with Dern you may ask, well, I believe that the reason that Elder Barusia wanted you (or at least he wanted Likeru to do it anyway) to go to the cave and see the Mushrooms was to show you something about darkness.

You see, one of Yahya the Final Form's many spells is self-destruct, which is the only way that he can die, however, as soon as he dies, he respawns, proving that he is an eternal presence that cannot be destroyed, just like Dern. The lore on Anya's Penumbra reads, 'The greatest light can never defeat the greatest dark, only those who can live with both may survive.' this suggests that Dern is unkillable and cannot be destroyed, further exemplified by the fact that the Water element (often associated with light) is weak to the Thunder element (often associated with darkness).

One of the Characters in the Trippy Forest even has the dialogue;

• Erd: It doesn't matter that we are on a 20-match losing streak, we'll never give up!

Further suggesting that Dern is unkillable.


We also see in the quest 'Tunnel Trouble' a character named Drale who appears to be a cow who is trying to free other cows from being eaten since they're sacred animals, we see several other cows such as Albert the Strong, Etus the Blind, and of course the Durum Protector in various areas around Wynn and the ocean.
So let's compare Drale (and some of the other cows) and Yahya, both seem to be references to Salted and Peppered respectively, both seem to be spreading the forces of those two aforementioned gods, (Yahya seems to be planting mushrooms in Nivla and Drale is freeing cows) and both seem to reflect the nature of light and dark respectively (Drake is quite kind and patient while Yahya is very quick tempered and often irritated).


BOOM there you go, Yahya is the Dern Beast confirmed and I need to have lunch i'm hungry.
I also had a theory that Proffesor Eih is Orphion but I'll spare you that one.







But actually this is seriously something I believe please help me by debunking this because I think I'm going insane.

 

I agree with you completely.

 

The Dern Beast has Bak'al place one of its eyes on the Eldritch Outlook. As far as we know Yahya has 2/2 if his eyes, therefore he isn't the Dern Beast--unless this "Master" Bak'al talked to wasn't the Dern Beast, but it probably was, or if Yahya is missing an eye and we don't know.

Wouldn’t be surprised if they actually made an ester egg with Yahya in Dern

 

Yahya actually is planting mushrooms so he can have Wynn... soon all the Churches will be destroyed, all the land plagued, burned, and destroyed... Then yahya will rise from the ashes of it and create the mushroom dark realm. This is where yahya begins the great “Mushroom Wars” which will end the world and turn it into a giant mushroom. This will happen if you don’t destroy yahya, the only reason you were brought to Wynn...

Dark things will happen if you don’t... Yahya is Reading This and he will slay me for exposing him. Destroy him it’s the worlds only hope...​
