    A somewhat natural conclusion, marrying the sparkling plate + black amaranth build with the tank spear concept:

    Damage assumes play at around 2000 health (stable for -19hpr against most of LI).

    Tunable hpr as usual but a bit harder to adjust on-the-fly. (I'm lucky and own two slayers.)

    Eye, LI, and Qira approved of course. Target 1000-1500 health against the eye, and 2000 health for LI bosses except cybel and Dr. Legendary (I think? 4k should be fine for both, and max the hpr setting. Adjust depending on how much hpr you tune to)

    Now, you might be wondering, isn't 2/4 mana too low?

    The answer is: Yes! 2/4 mana is too low! But only if you are considering steady state.

    Every mana regen cycle, you'll end up short one or two mana. So, assuming just over one uppercancel/second (mana consumption of 9/4s), you will lose 2 mana per 4 seconds.

    Which means, on a full mana bar, you can burst for 40 seconds.

    Which, combined with your pretty insane spell damage, basically kills any boss. For reference, orange wybel (and cybel) dies in less than 5 seconds for form 1/2, and 10 sec for form 3 (though it usually charges out before you can finish your combo anyway). Granted its one of the glassier bosses (probably the fastest kill in LI), but from experience, the only LI boss where this issue shows is Matrojan Idol.

    If you own a 3/4 -3/4 suppression you can swap that in for mpc, drops water defense a bit but extends the burst to 80 seconds.

    If you really care you can learn to be like @RenZenthio and side in a snow shovel or something for ms but I'm not at that skill level right now, so the 3/4 ms (and 800 ls) the build has is basically going unused.

    Some bosses have push/tp (idk qira I guess) or arena hazards (the eye) and then u can just chill and regain mana while u can't attack anyway.
    TL;DR: Mana low, not a problem practically because you do so much damage and can burst for 40s doing constant uppercancels on a full mana bar.

    The two settings I've tried are -19 hpr raw and +38 hpr raw.

    -19hpr is an interesting gimmick - the steady state health of the build is something like 2.5k/13k, which puts you pretty close to the "target" health of 2k that this build likes to play at for most boss fights. Natural hpr kicks in decently strong when u drop below 1.5k (gives you like +30-50 health regen or so), and enemies in the eye fight do about 100 damage, so you'll tend to hover around 1-1.5k health which is just about perfect for the eye fight.

    +38 hpr is less tested, only run against qira - I had some trouble with losing health on -19hpr going into qira at low hp, but with +38 hpr I walked in with 1.5k and walked out with 1.8k. I think practically speaking I would recommend somewhere between +30 and +50 hpr if you want to play the tankier variation.
    TL;DR: Build has been tested at -19 and +38 hpr settings. -19 is almost perfect for the eye fight, but requires more caution when fighting conventional bosses, +38 hpr is solid regeneration
