Question Archer In 1.20...

Will there be an archer nerf? Honestly I have no idea please help. Also I’m an archer main so I’ll be kinda sad about that I didn’t think it overpowered just fun.

 

iirc not really. They introduced mobs with knowback/stun/etc. resistance so that might make your life harder, but I don't think they really nerf it

 

damn that would be way worse for a melee class, archer would be better suited for this

the mobs have the knockback resistance, not the classes.

also the melee classes don't really get affected-- it serves as a partial buff to warrior because you can actually use stealing, and assassin has vanish so you are fine.

shaman got hit the hardest from it (deservedly so).

 

if the mobs have knock back resistance fighting them up close would be tough, you’d have to back up while fighting probably.

Archer would remain long distance so kb resistance wouldn’t affect you, unless you’re cornered of course

I mean, night hawk is getting a nerf so that could affect a lot of archer builds but I don’t believe thee are any direct nerfs to archer.

 

K ty for telling me, a small nerf would be fine too for archer would make it a little more fun and balanced
