    Greetings!

I have recently been conducting research on a new, delectable long-lasting energy beverage for human soldiers.
As proof of my Bachelors' of Science in Alchemy:

I have been spending my tenure brewing, obtaining funding, and of course, reading. Several of the books I have read have pointed to a recipe called "Coke", a highly-energizing drink that once dominated the beverages market, to a point where it competed with ale!

Unfortunately, the books never mentioned any specific recipe, but based on my studies of ancient scripture, I believe that the main component of Coke is a sort of purified white powder. With this knowledge, I began to reverse-engineer the correct recipe.

Today, I can proudly present to you: my recreation of the ancient Coke.

    recipe

Admittedly, I lack the proper funds to create such a high-quality potable, so I will have to use 2-star instead of 3-star base materials. Also, I will only be using Sky materials instead of Dernic (i.e. hemp pot and starfish) as I have not completed a post-doc in alchemy and have not been licensed to use such materials.

Here is the real recipe I will brew today: recipe

As we can see, I have found what I believe to be the correct white powder the texts spoke of: Fairy Powder. Further research into this reveals:

Fairy powder is a substance which "affects the senses and the perception of reality." Needless to say, this matches perfectly with the descriptions of Coke being delicious (affecting the sense of taste) and highly-energizing (augmenting the reality of one's level of energy). With that in mind, I did not use only fairy powder in my recipe, else it would lack a proper combination of flavors to become a truly delectable drink. For that, I turned to another white powder, sea salt, a common preservative that increases the duration of potions. The, well, saltiness of sea salt also adds in a kick of flavor which can perfectly balance the fairy powder.

    The setup:

    The product:

Now, this particular batch did not meet the average standards of the recipe, but I suspect that this was caused mainly by impurities in the brewing setup (publicly-funded stands are notorious for having residue in them). In fact, I found this vile substance in the brewing setup after cleaning it!

I cannot undo a brewing, so I had nothing else to do at this point. I gave my first batch of Coke a test-drink, and...

The drink is indeed highly-energizing, and when used in conjunction with white bull, grants astonishing strength to soldiers. In any case, I would consider this a success.

However, I cannot consider this a complete success. Why?

I think I made goddamn red bull on accident.

My heartfelt appreciations and graciousness go to my mentor and professor Dr. @hppeng for funding my studies in alchemy (and scribing and cooking), as well as providing the grant necessary for me to conduct this research. The same goes to you right there for reading my research. Please consider funding me for future research!
