The Glorious Republic of Ivory Tusk is a highly competitive Wynncraft warring guild, established on principles of anarchy, brutality, and bloodshed. Despite humble beginnings, Ivory Tusk is destined to emerge victorious from every conflict through diligence and determination.

Becoming one of us means joining our dedicated and tireless warteam. Our community is centered solely around war and contribution to the guild. There are no "requirements" to join, stay, or rank-up in IVT, our leaders select those who have shown the most loyalty to the guild, and the word of our authority is final on all matters.

It is recommended that you have at least one level 80+ class before applying to join, as this will be needed in wars. As a community we work closely to help one another with grinding (when we're not warring of course). If you wish to join, fill out this form and your application will be reviewed by a leader:

Thanks @Nerfet , your application is currently under consideration. A response should be posted within 24 hours, so keep an eye out! I look forward to potentially seeing you in the guild.
    Who doesn't like bananas, seriously?
For anyone who is interested, we ABSOLUTELY are accepting duocitizenships with other guilds. You can spend as little or as much time in the guild as you wish as long as your display your loyalty through a blood sacrifice. Even those not prepared to enlist can still be a part of our community on discord. Message me for more info

That's alright, the blood sacrifice can be a big deal for some, but it's really nothing. Whenever you feel like it's time for a little bit of ceremonial self-harm (for legal reasons that's a joke, please don't hurt yourself), be sure to sign up for our group here, we'd be happy to have you :D

The tusks of an African Bush Elephant make for a sad story. They are thought to be quite intelligent animals, capable of complex caring and grieving. Standing up to 3.5 meters tall and 6-7 meters long and weighing in at as much as 6 tonnes they are the largest land animals on the planet. The tusks can be up to 2.5 meters long, and weigh as much as a small human (like @Nerfet ).
Despite their large stature, African Bush Elephants are Herbivorous - scouring the plains and savannahs of central and southern Africa in nomadic herds (ranging from a ten elephant family up to 4 digit groups) for plants and water (although their ancestral roots can be traced as far as the Arctic Circle home of our glorious leader @Alle ). The trunk and tusks are used not only for fighting predators and each other for mates but also for gathering food and water, a very time consuming process considering the 150kg of food they must eat each day.
Each elephant has 4 molar teeth for chewing food, each weighing around 5 kilos and about a foot long. Each time a pair of molars wear down, they break apart and fall out, and a new pair are pushed forward from behind. They go through a total of four sets of teeth before they simply run out. Without their teeth, they have no way to digest food, and so they slowing die of starvation. Due to the lack of predators who would assult such a huge beast, this is a leading cause of death.
The tusks are essentially large, pointed teeth begin to grow at around six years of age, and this is where the real danger starts. Unlike members of the notoirous guild, elephants are the friendly giants of the African habitats, co-existing peacefully with almost all other species. However, since the 19th Century, demand for their tusks has spread beyond only jewelers. Artworks, ornaments piano keys, and the medical solution for almost any condition you can imagine, Ivory Tusks are in highly sought after across the continent. Although it was outlawed globally more than thirty years ago, the Ivory poaching and trade industry is still booming, and the price is high.
Unlike rhinoceroses, conservationists cannot simply remove the tusks from the animal to keep it safe from poachers. A third of an elephant's tusk is in its skull, containing a pulpy caivity of tissue, blood vessels and sensitive nerves. Removing the tusks from an elephant is a horrifying process, which always results in death and leaves behind a morbid head with a sizeable crater. Over the last century African Bush Elephant populations have declined by 97% due almost wholly to poaching and the expansion of humans into their habitats.

    "Natural" Selection
The phenomenon of tuskless elephants has existed as a rare mutation for millions of years. It comes with many disadvantages: harder to scvange for food; losing out on the annual fights for females in mating seasons; self defense; protecting baby elephants etc. However, in the last hundred years, the rate of tuskless elephants has gone up from 2-6% naturally to over 33% in some regions. This is disasterous for jewelers on wynn, and conservation methods may be needed to preserve any chance of this ingredient lasting beyond the next few years. Despite the trade market being down, Ivory Tusks are still a valuable resource which is sold in bulk to many aspiring profession tryhards. As a guild, we plan to initiate discussions on how we want to approach this incoming disaster. Preserving the elephant population, and population of other tusked animals, as well as their natural physical traits is absolutely essential if these glorious animals are to survive into the future.
