Is Crafting Items Worth?

I guess this question got asked already, but since i cant find a search bar in this forum(am i just blind?) and i cant find any recent things via google im gonna ask here.
Is it worth to Craft Items or are the Items in Loots/Quests better?
Im playing on this Server again for like a week (last time i played was 7 years ago lol) and rn the market is down(i know why and i understand why it has to be like that) and it somehow tilts me bcs i liked to change my build like every 10 lvls (lvl 71 warrior rn) to try different stuff but since the shop is down i cant do it anymore. And i also tried to obtain some nice looking items that might fit my build rn via Boss Altars but the one i tried (Skiens) is bugged as i found out after the Boss didnt spawn 2 times. I also tried farming specific items (got bored/demotivated after 2 hours), i dont have much items in my enderchest that synergize with each other and i also traveled through some citys to ask people but most of the people i met had the same struggle as me :/ Feel free to answer my question or give me tips to optain nice items in ways i may not no yet (i know the trade market forum exists, but i dont want to make a post there so often and ask for items to buy)

Grinding for professions will multiply the time of your adventure several times, while you will be just mindlessly doing one thing.

Identified items are much better, at least on first playthrough

 

If you can go through the grind crafted items can be a lot better than legendaries + there are certain ID's which are only on crafted items.

Optionally you can ask other people to craft something for you

 

Crafted items can be more powerful than legendaries in one stat, but legendaries generally have more than one useful stat. They also are more expensive. 3 star materials can easily be 1LE, and you need like 18 of them for a lot of end game items. However, getting levels for making them is a massive grind, and if you only want to get a few items for yourself then you are better off asking someone to craft for you. If you want to make and sell items, then that can be worth it, but it's still a huge grind.

At the moment you should be ok with just random gear you find, but that will change somewhat soon. I guess you could try loot running a tiny bit to get some rares and legendaries. Profs are definitely not the answer for your gear issue at lvl 70

 

Correction, crafted items are better by a lot, but it’s just not worth the grind to get them when you can use IDed items instead, especially early-game.

 

I meant when you (in their situation) choose between IDed and crafted IDed are better (because no grind)
But yes, crafteds can be better (although I couldn't stand the durability)
