i only joined wynncraft february/march this year and so i was never around for the hich cheater hunter thing. after a few months of leveling the 5 classes and warring i started to think to myself, what if i beat ironman-craftsman as a challenge?

i started ICH for the hunted bonus and things went smoothly, until bobs lost soul. my internet is subpar and as i expected, i died to a wolf after timing out. still though i told myself i could beat ICH even after dying a bunch of times. i then died at toa to game freeze, lazarus pit to wynn's asia server going offline, twice to a very bad timeout and falling into void. but, i ended up beating it last month after a lot of on and off grinding.


with my new motivation, i used the knowledge i got in my ICH run and tried to perfect it for HICH.
1st and 2nd run had nothing special, died early.

3rd run was a shaman. everything was going fine, combat/prof were level 75, went and did toa floor 1-6. saw someone start a cuc party and i went to run cuc. (my tool progression is ds-uc-ib-gg-cuc). on the 3rd run, my game started to freeze, but i thought nothing of it, since my old pc is prone to freezing. came back after /classing, then i get whacked by a permhunted on accident when they were trying to kill the mobs.

i wasnt that mad, since i knew that getting to level 80 again wouldnt be too hard with no hich hunters. 4th-7th runs were mages. i used the old mage powerleveling trick and tried to level back to 80, but i just kept dying to lag spikes. then i took a break for a few days.

on dec 16th i decided to get a new pc. i got back on, started a new HICH assassin and replicated what i did on my ICH run. got to level 70 in 30 hours playtime, and as i got there dxp weekday started. i took advantage of it and leveled to 90 in the first 3 days. it was smooth sailing to 105 though i met a 92 permhunted and a prof hunter at level 100.

overall HICH is an enjoyable experience but the last week of my life has been stressful, painful nights. im the type of person who takes what i do too seriously, i could not sleep at night thinking about the HICH class and wake up at ungodly hours due to nightmares of getting hunted. it was horrible, but ironman-craftsman as a gamemode is extremely fun, and i would recommend it to anyone who has a bit of free time.

man i swear my favorite part of every hich completion thread is the "yeah ok so it fucking ruined my life for a little but overall fantastic experience recommend it to anyone"
