I'm talking to the void, but as a teacher of mine once said.

    "Just fuck it." -Sarah

Funny how one woman's impact has lead me to writing this.
    Perhaps it's worth my time.
I've got little to say, but hope this message reaches every single possible person.

I know people would dislike a rollback, but would sacrifice their well earned goodies for the greater good. But I'm not here to talk about a rollback.

I'm here to talk about purposefully burning all duped items, not from the side of the staff team,
but from the side of the people.
If we collectively help the admins correct this without a much needed rollback,
we might actually get away with it this time.

The damage done to the economy is immeasurable.
But we shape the economy, and it is through our collective strength to bring it back to it's initial state.

The admins are right to not have rushed this decision, it requires thought and not just a spontaneous decision. At the moment, we've largely passed the window of opportunity for a roll back. It is still possible, but would potentially break more than it would fix. It's like when I tried to fix my brother's Legos, I dropped that shit and it broke into countless pieces. Moral of the story, good intent isn't going to fix this situation.

We broke the Lego, and the staff team is trying to pick up the pieces.

Perhaps we can help them, instead of fighting against them.
Or just.. you know, try to hide all our secret, duped LE in an attempt to launder it.
Because that won't ruin the fun.

    What will it be, people.

I applaud you but this won’t work for the exact reason communism won’t work. While I’m not cynical enough to say all human beings are inherently bad, this is like communism in that it takes a few people to ruin the whole thing

First off, the damage to the economy isn't immeasurable, it can't be measured now because the market is in a recovery step but once it works itself out and we can see where the new prices are we'll easily be able to measure the damage. Second, you shouldn't advocate for a rollback and the admins taking their time, those are completely opposite positions. The longer they wait for a rollback, the more it costs. There isn't going to be a rollback, but even if there was doing it now would be a terrible idea even if 10 million stacks were duped instead of 50K.

Next, you're going to need to explain why there's actually a problem with the market in the first place, because for somebody so sure it's damaged beyond repair, you haven't actually proved anything is broken. You (and everyone making this argument) are just speculating based on the current state of the market without thinking about the mechanics the economy in Wynn is fundamentally based on. That would be like looking at gold price trends from the day before 9-11 and the day after and going "wow, gold markets are over-inflated, entire economy is over" yeah, no shit they are because people are panic buying goods with inherit value at far higher prices then they're worth to secure the money they do have. Also, fun fact, Wynn's economy is also entirely based on inflation, every time somebody finds a good mythic, stacks and stacks of LE are created out of thin air and nobody ever says the economy is over then, so why have things suddenly changed now?

Real demand for items (outside of panic buying) hasn't changed meaning peoples willingness to pay hasn't gone up, especially since most people didn't exploit this bug. You can try selling items for insanely high prices, but if item prices are high, lootrunning becomes more profitable so more people do it, this causes new items to be introduced to the market at a higher then equilibrium rate which leads to the suppliers needing to compete in prices to make sales, thus bringing the economy back to where it should be. Unless you can explain to me what I just wrote is wrong, stop freaking people out by saying the economy is dead and start lootrunning if you want to get rich, because as they say, buy low, sell high.
