Will There Eventually Be A Corrupted Eo

so in 1.19 they added corrupted undergrowth ruins, so will they keep making more corrupted dungeons

There might be more corrupted dungeons, but uh idk about corrupted eo :)

 

Not for a very long time. The next dungeon is Corrupted Galleons Graveyard, which isn't even being added in 1.20, and maybe it'll be in 1.21. On top of this, they will have Corrupted Fallen Factory as well. If it ever happens (which I dont think it will), it'll be long after a lot of the base game storyline is finished

 

I feel I should point out that corrupted fallen factory fits in perfectly as the end of the current forgery design. 3 Nii dungeons, 3 uth dungeons, 3 tol dungeons. Also, while this may be changed in 1.20, even though the gate isn't named yet, there is an empty one where cff would go, but not one for ceo.
So, while they may eventually want to add corrupted eo if the level cap somehow gets high enough (which I doubt it will), I think they'll stop at corrupted fallen factory instead.

 

Corrupted EO is unlikely, since it's stated that The Eye is a force physically more powerful than corruption that probably caused it, so it would make 0 sense lore wise for it to succumb to the corruption. Besides, it would ruin the 3 nii 3 uth 3 tol pattern

 

To me, Corrupted EO won't be a thing.

First, there are 2 slots for Corrupted Dungeons left in The Forgery, and if you look there pre-1.20, you will see Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard, and the slot to the left looks a lot like it could be for Corrupted Fallen Factory.

Secondly, the boss, The Eye, would be so hard, it would be even harder than the highest level Raid Boss, and not to mention EO is kind of the highest level non-corrupted Dungeon as well as the highest level Dungeon in the game.

Lastly, it wouldn't make much sense in the lore, as Corruption is what strengthens Dern, and the light penetrating into the Silent Expanse would kind of not make much sense in the lore, as the Light was losing the battle and the worlds made in the Forgery are what would Wynn look like if the humans lost the War of the Realms.

TL;DR: Corrupted Galleon's Graveyard and Corrupted Fallen Factory are the 2 most likely candidates, and there will be no more corrupted dungeons afterward.
