As a general rule of thumb, I wouldn’t use mythic price guides and 2w averages to gauge actual mythic prices. The mythic market is so volatile rn that neither metrics are that accurate.

If someone buys up all the Monsters on the market and tries to sell them at an elevated price, that's a huge gamble that they're putting a lot of confidence behind - they must be quite confident that Monster is undervalued, or that the demand will soon rise. If they're wrong enough, that marginal loss in demand is really going to hurt them. Most likely, they've made a poor prediction and will end up shorting all their holdings after a few weeks, especially once more Monsters enter the market at a lower price and they see that their prediction was not accurate.

(of course, if they're right they've made bank by anticipating increased future demand before anyone else and going all-in on it)

yall treat this market like its the US economy. there are no regulations in the fucking wynn trade market people can do whatever they want and you cant stop them. manipulating the market is an uncommon occurrence and bitching about it on a forum thread isnt doing anything.

yes the richer and smarter players will end up richer. there is no guarantee of equality of outcome. cope with it.
