Class Base Damage

    So I’ve heard that classes have base damage values just like they have base defense values. What are these values? And how do they multiply damage?

    It doesn’t work like base defence values do (ie factoring into the damage taken calculation), but rather, the damages of each class’ weapons follows this baseline, when attack speed is taken into account.

    I’ve heard both the archer and shaman have 120% base damage but how is that possible, bows do way more dps than relics

    notice the identical average damage

    Assuming item team did a good job of balancing the other weapons they should all do the same dps. Archer does more spell damage (spell multiplier 600% and 250% on storm and bomb), shaman only has 200% on aura but I guess in exchange you have the passive 35% boost and massive CC which is neat

    interesting, the relik has more reliable dps but the bow can do either more or less dps. About the same on average
