Is There A Point In Leveling Up Weapon Smithing Professions

hey skye here and i have a question. sorry if this may be a very stupid question but i just started. its like my 4th day playing. ok here's the question.

is there a point in leveling up the weapon smithing profession as a assassin?

are there any good daggers you can make out of it?

i can't recommend it unless 1. you were doing a craftsman playthough (a gamemode unlocked at level 20) or 2. your level 100, most early game weaponsmithing stuff isn't that good, doing professions can be an extra grind

Professions (like weaponsmithing) generally aren’t recommended for your first playthrough, because they take a lot of time, being very monotonous and grindy.

Late game I hear they can be good, but I’d recommend using items dropped from mobs, gained from loot chests, ones from quests, etc.

Honestly, it's best to just skip them if your not overly enthusiastic about them, they're not required.

don't worry about professions until you're past lvl100
