Granite Problems

I started up a craftsman run. Plain and simple. It's actually much easier than I thought it would be. However, I have a problem.
When gathering granite, I have to spend about a minute just to get 2 pieces of granite. You can see how this would be a problem. I am currently using the mines outside Detlas and Ragni, which each provide 1 granite, to get my granite. Is there a place where there's more than 1 granite at a time? Please help, I really don't want to buy Granite off of the Trade Market.

 

There are no nodes which give multiple of the material at a time, but there are betters locations to gather granite. I believe the best on is the pig man ravines. Hope this helps!

 

This is true, the pigman ravines are littered with granite

 

As many people have said, the Pigmen's Ravines are the best place, however, there is a location at the Mining Base Upper (785, 86, -1242, wiki) with 20 Granite.

 

There is a place really close to detlas with like 11 nodes to the north west of detlas, you can look at the map and make your way up the path parallel to the ragni detlas exit until you see a granite piece, follow the road it is on to get to it. I can't tell you the coords because for some reason the map doesn't show them anymore.

 

It should not be taking you a minute to mine granite. Are you using t1 tools?

 

the problem is with the locations being mined - each only has one node.
