Assassin/Ninja Help Powder Help

I tried the Ice Barrows dungeon for leveling but I can't defeat the Shade of Theorick
I didn't use any powder before so I want to put 2 t4 earth powder on my katana as a test
I can put my earth powder on powder master's slot but I don't know why I can't put my katana on slot, I need help

Someone recommended hashr's claw in my level before, unfortunately katana was my best of all I could get

 

I don’t believe that katana has any powder slots, meaning you won’t be able to put any powders on it. Have you tried checking the trade market for Hashr’s claw because I have heard that it’s a really good weapon for its lvl.

 

there's no hashr's claw in trade market but I bought scorpion instead Is hashr's claw better then this?

 

hashr's claw doesn't show up in trademarket because it's untradable.
you get it from sandswept tomb dungeon near almuj/desert.

you can use scorpion, hashr is slightly better but you'll be fine
