Need Something From Beta?

I’m noticing a lot of threads asking what you can do in hero beta from non hero’s, so I’m just sort of making a mega thread of sorts and I’ll do what you ask (or at least try lol).

Basically just ask what you want a hero to do, and either I or someone else will find out/try etc.

Other hero’s can help too if they want.

 

Do you have (seen, found, know someone who has) all Molten Heights discoveries?

 

I haven’t found/seen anyone with yet, but I’ll keep an eye out when on the beta and ask others

@TrapinchO All the molten heights discoveries have been found. Or at least I have 100% in the discovery book(?) for it (Just adding incase a new discovery is added, but I don't think that will be).

 

Could you please send me the discovery lores? (Or screenshots if you are lazy to type it)

Speaking of, how much are we actually "allowed" to reveal from Hero Beta, cause I'm assuming we can't just go around showing off everything right?

 

All I know is that you may not post it on wiki.

Since everything about beta is public, I don't really see the problem. And I have got several tips from CT about what has changed in lore, so...

 

1. How do tomes work, I understand that you have to unlock the slots and so on, but how are they actually used?

2. The new guild system - I saw that someone posted about increased profession xp in areas you control? How hard do you imagine it would be for smaller guilds to take territories to gain these benefits, and therefore is it still biased towards larger guilds?

Essentially you need to complete wormholes to unlock the tome page and there are 12 tome slots and 5 tome types. The types are dungeoneering (dungeon xp), slaying (mob xp), gathering (gathering xp I believe - I don't have one of these yet), Weapon (damage to mobs), and Armour (defense from mobs). There are 2 slots for dungeon, slaying, gathering, and weapon. There are 4 slots for armour. Each of the slots has a different combat requirement in multiples of 10 as well as one other requirement. For example, one of the weaponsmithing slots requires combat level 60 and to complete the Nest of the Grootslang raid. To use tomes (you can rr them btw) you go into your compass and into the tome section and u can just click the tome and that's it. The tomes are class bound (you can only use them on the class you get the tome on) and you can freely take them out of the tome menu without any penalties. Hope this helps!

 

So they are preeminent buffs to characters. That’s how I thought they worked but then I got worried when someone said about having to activate them but this makes a lot of sense, thanks for helping!

 

I’d imagine that it would be hard enough for smaller guilds to control these areas, but perhaps it will be different (maybe during prof parties guilds won’t attack or something). It would come down to the individual players however.

 

I’m happy to help with any mechanics/items/builds based questions people have, and if I can’t test it, someone at Atlas can.

Also, any ideas on things I can test with Rhythm of the Seasons would be appreciated

 

why was rhythm of the seasons allowed into the game. this is my question.
(alternatively: why was sp removed from dehydro without compensation in other accessories?)

Could someone with Beta access possibly list all locations (and their rank requirements) for housing?
I have some ideas for what I will build, but I would like to know the locations I can use before deciding.

 

I heard that they did away with herb cave, like they did with bulb. Is that true?

 

no i grinded in herb cause i needed lv 54 class for raid. herb is same as ever
