Do we know of any music that will be removed in 1.20? Like any area that will get a new music? I'd like to record it while I can.

Idk what will be removed, but no need to record them, there is a Youtube playlist for Wynn OST, where even the removed songs are available.

I know, but I'd like to record it note-by-note with my mod, so that I can make a piano tutorial on it. Still thanks for the reply though.

I realized that when I asked this of course nobody knew but now that hero beta is out, there is actually a chance that someone will not find a music that used to play.

Well there’s the jukebox, however I have no idea if there are songs that are not in there

Yeah, that's why I'm not that paranoid, cuz Travelling at dusk was also removed but they made sure that it is still available there.

I really miss the old music for the Twain Mansion. I can't find it anywhere and I don't even remember how it sounded, but I remember that it was a great song. Does anyone of you have it somewhere by any chance?

I only play since the 1.17 update, but while I was looking for sheet music and arrangements, I found this that made me wonder that there was an old music piece, it's not the original but at least something:

OMG, yes, it sounds so familiar.!!! Such a pity that we don't have the full song and don't have it in as noteblock sounds.

Lag is going to mess with that really badly.

Also on musescore a lot of the music is available, transcribed by xeoran

    That's no problem :P
I record it multiple times and antilag it with magic spells, see here e.g.:

Yeah, that's why I'm planning to first record the ones that Xeoran didn't transcribe (there are quite a few now). (And after that I'd still miss the percussion / original sound, but I'll see if I have enough time for it.)

That's actually amazing that you managed to do that!
Could you try to get that as sheetmusic though?

I can make decent scores in Musescore from the MIDI's like this (BB8):

First I record it with my mod 2*2 times: https://forums.wynncraft.com/threads/note-block-music-midi-recorder-forge-mod.276690/
Then I cut the start to be good (always start with the note that has 0.25 as volume cuz intro volume change).
Then if metronome is 6 I use my antilag script (the lag is kinda different if you record it on 1.15 or 1.12), it evens some stuff out (like 4->6, 8->6, 10->12; for metronome=4 it doesn't work cuz 6->4 could be 6->8 too).
Then I compare the 2 recordings with Kompare: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kompare but any other diff tool should work, looking for bad values and lagspikes, I can explain my rules if sb's interested, and merge the 2 recordings together.
Then I cut the recording in half (the first note that has 1.0 as volume is the loop point, before that only 0.98 is possible as max), use my amplifier script on the first half and compare the 2 halves. They should be identical, if there are any differences, I listen to it or decide somehow which one is the real one.
Then I have the perfect csv, without any lag.
I can then use my converter script to convert it to different midis: long notes, short notes, melodic percussion etc.
I then have another script that makes the video for me from the perfect csv file in 1 click: rendering audio and video, merging them, adding intro, outro, making thumbnail, making the midi I upload (thats best used to create a score).
It takes me like 1/2 an hour to do this if I have it already recorded two times, pretty good considering how slow it is to create the score and synthesia by hand.

Btw, if someone who knows the NBS format wants to write a script that converts these to nbs (if the WC team allows it? they would be pretty close to original), I'd share the "perfect" csv files too (otherwise I'd share it when I finish, cuz its much easier to upload them in one go).

Oh yeah, everything is here except for the video maker script as that's full of paths: https://github.com/4321ba/noteblock_music_yoinker

Also if someone's interested and would follow along I have already done 33 pieces (although 17 of them is lower quality, I made them before figuring the current setup out, I'll probably reupload them later; EDIT: I just reuploaded them):

Well I'm more of a Python user than everything else, I only touched Java to make this mod, it took me quite a few days to write that like 80 lines of Java code :D, whereas I at least had a little bit of previous experience with py-midicsv (managing midi files with python). Python just makes sense and is very easy to write and run/test. That's why I wanted to get the data out of Java as soon as possible.

While searching for older recordings for the new House of Twain music I found this too, the guy speaks over it for the whole video but at least it's the noteblock version:
