I'm a lvl 68 mage and I don't know if I should wait a couple lvls before fighting CoW.
Is it possible to solo now or should I party?

I think (as a pretty bad-at-fighting player) that you may as well try if you have enough soul points.
    There's really nothing to lose.

Every quest is solo-able at the lvl that you get, but some quests are a lot harder. With the right gear it’s defiantly possible.

Is my current build good enough? It's based off ideas from other posts.

Possibly? You may want some better leggings, some extra health or especially mana regen would definitely be helpful here. Also, using skill point potions will make a big difference and can make the fight significantly easier.

Honestly, if you don’t have an amazing build, there would be two ways to go about this. CoW is pretty easy at-level as long as you’re not Shaman.

    1. Stun lock the boss using your ice snake, while dealing the damage with Meteor. This should be enough to avoid his meelee attack. When he starts to pull you, either walk away or strafe to avoid multi hit.

    2. Cheese the boss with potions.

Electrocharge greaves holds a special place in my heart if you want to deal the damage. The negative health regen and mana steal might be a deal breaker tho.

Cool, yeah the negative stuff is not good (flashbacks of dying in the jungle with negative life steal :/) I also changed my wand to Aerokinesis for air dmg and netural dmg.

First off, you should make slight modifications to your build. Aerokinesis is a very good choice of weapon over Monks's Battle Staff, I would have recomenned it myself. It is also good for CoW due to its air damage.

Another good swap out would be your leggings, as they are a bit outdated in level, and don't contribute too much to the build. Ectoplasm is a decent option to switch in there.

Any boss is soloable at level, and so is CoW. Keep up a good pattern of Ice Snakes and Meteors to slow him and deal damage, and if he gets to you, teleport away and heal. Keep that up, and you should take him down.

I'll have to disagree with this. Shaman is the best class for CoW. I had a fair challenge against him using Assassin and Mage, but nearly nohitted him with Shaman without even trying. You can just keep him stunned in place with Aura Prison, and that's it.

Also Electrocharge greaves aren't great, they're meant for a melee build and the -hpr is bad.

Oop didn’t see OP’s build sorry. I usually use melee so that’s what I suggested.

Electrocharge Greaves are what I used for CoW and I shredded through his health on assassin.

Quick Charge leggings would be better but the Revenant of Skien fight is broken so they are impossible to get now.

Ok, @Emogla3 and @P1xell8ted. Thx, I'll take your ideas. Oh, and was it a good idea to add 2 T5 air powders to my wand?
