Pretty good though I'd say you could use something other than diorite for the horn.

 

any suggestions on what i should use?

 

Idk atm but quartz maybe but I think that block looks too similar in look to a bone block.

 

I'll look into a better looking block tomorrow, i was also thinking obsidian, thanks!

 

Some general advice, which applies to any and all art: use references. No, it’s not cheating, and it can help tremendously. For instance: your skeletal build looks like a fish, but comparing it to fish skeleton images shows that the skeleton you build lacks vertebrae, or whatever it is called that keeps the bones together.

 

For an attempt, it isn't too bad but there will be errors, which is why he is asking for advice. The thing that I think you are speaking of that holds the ribs together would probably be a spine.

 

The horn in the front doesn't have much of a detailed shape. It's just a strait diagonal line so far, which is why I gave the build a 6/10. I like the idea, and most of the build is alright, it's just the horn that could be a bit better. Maybe make the horn look a bit like a rhino's horn? that could look cool.

Using references is incredibly helpful. It can make your build look a lot more like what you want it to look like.

 

That build is pretty epic, honestly not sure what you could add

 

i think the diorite is out of place

 

it is really good , but the Polished Diorit is a bit out of place and I'd advise you to get it a bit more texturised like your tree and maybe add a bit normal diorit into the lower parts of the skeleton to let it look bit more woren down , but I 'm not quit sure if that would look better , but besides that it really is a great build (sorry if the english is bad )

why does this post keep reviving itself, i don't need help with it anymore

 

in my opinion, it looks too clean and symmetrical. maybe add small bits of skin and flesh, make the bones a bit broken, mix in some other white blocks
