Note: I haven't updated the gavel nodes and do not intend to for a while seeing as there seems to be an issue with rare mob spawning at the moment, most likely due to server lag/pressure

How do most rare mobs spawn?

It surprises me that a lot of players do not realise that most mobs in the game have set coordinates that they spawn at (That decrepit sewers guardian you always find near Therck isn't lucky so much as a spawn node). So I'm going to write up a bunch of good locations that they spawn at, Which I'll call nodes since they bare some similarity to resource nodes.

    But why do this?
Knowing where to farm specifically for a given mob is very useful in increasing efficiency, and it allows you to pick locations where you can camp multiple nodes to have the best mob spawn frequencies.

There are lots of Nii nodes spread through gavel so I've skipped over some of them in favour of the better options that have overlaps
1: (-1004, -4763) near the forgery in the light forest. good option for getting runes quickly.
2: (-583, -5358) lexdale south side. There area actually 2 nodes clustered here. they're <10 blocks apart though so they're counted the same.
3: (-664, -5439) lexdale west side. can be farmed in conjunction with spot 2
    4: (725, -5337) thesead suburbs
    5: (367, -4897) hobgoblin farm

I'm gonna do the rune mobs first, so here are the avias, which you need to kill to get feathers so you can can grind Uth runes
1: (-1718, -2602) This is directly outside the Fallen factory. There is also an FF key guardian node nearby.
2: (-1727, -2647) Also outside the Fallen factory can be camped in tandem
    3: (-1558, -2699) near the drop pond
    4: (-1470, -2747) near the drop pond
5: (-1589, -2739) also near the drop pond

    3: Light Forest, -842 44 -4788

    Highwayman: (706, -1874) savannah

Limestone Machination: (1336, -1951) desert; there seems to be 2 nodes close to eachother here.

    Relic guardians:
1: Savannah: (700, -1874) (this one drops boots)
2: desert: (1306, -1990) (helmet) this one isn't where the wiki shows it to be be but is still pretty close so there may be 2 nodes.

Some spots are more efficient than others. I'd just like to give a few mentions to these ones.

For Nii runes, lexdale and its surrounds is very good. you also get obelisk cores and ritual catalysts here.

For avia feathers, the spot near the drop pond around -1558, -2699 is efficient since it has 3 nodes and a ff guardian node.

for CSST, and CIB the arch near geyser pit on Corkus is very nice since it also has FF and Avia nodes,

CLS and CUC are best farmed just east of the white ??? meteor

CUR is best farmed on the path from the dogun village to their temple

Just gonna chuck my thoughts on this mechanic here. It's 12 am so bring your tinfoil. I've noticed that spawn rates at nodes decay or fall the longer you are in a given chunk/render distance of them. This is purely anecdotal however. As a mechanic in general, the lack of regularity in contrast to resource nodes can make discovering these mobs more adventure-like than predictable, this is, however, not as helpful for grinding them. From my experimentation there are loads of other mobs that spawn via nodes, likely a large majority. Examples of this range from the wybels on wybel island to the catalyst minibosses in EO to the guard mobs in all cities to literally every Corkian citizen.

I did get some help from some frinds in making this so thankyou @Shutler, @1+1=3, @ThePurpleEmerald, @coolmangaming and also matt+, ChromaticDragons and sun6000 on discord.

TBA: relic guardians, mama zombie (maybe), unicorns, az runes, updating my gavel nodes

I'm pretty sure wynncraft has some form of mob cap set up, because I notice the same but when I kill the surrounding mobs the spawn rates increase again. This might not be the case, but it would explain this effect, since I doubt it was intentional because it also happens to the dead lumberjacks near detlas

Sounds cool. For some reason I have a slight feeling someone's making a map of all the nodes and areas...

Yeah idk if I want to be as comprehensive with rare drop mobs as key guardians since they’re even harder to find.

There's also a small suspicious crate node inside the Ahmsord Bank, behind one of the emerald merchants. I've seen like four of them in the exact same spot in the bank

From me afking trunks, luxroot, unicorn & glimmering coins. The
spawn rate of Starred mob dosen’t overlap with normal mob as most of the time starred mob spawn anyway with a lotta mob around me
I feel like they rather have randomized spawn and respawn time(5~15min?)
