    Hi everyone,

After reading @Dr Zed 's cool thread on gen 4 vs gen 5, I thought to ask everyone:

What is your opinion on adding legendary pokemon to your team after you catch them? This is something I often see argued on YouTube comments.

Generally I see people reject their usage because the pokemon are stronger than most others, or because they just want to beat the game without any legendaries.

Personally, I always leave one space for the cover legendary when brainstorming a team to play through the games (except Kanto games where the cover pokemon are starters and are easily accessible). They are the first thing I see when picking up a copy and have awesome-looking moves / designs. Why not train them (and pet them and give them snacks)? As for minor legendaries, I don't use most either because they are only 1 type, or are handouts (random Lati- in ORAS and Poison/Dragon in gen 8). To an extent I agree with the people who think legendaries are too strong because I'd only use 1 in a team.

Leave thoughts, have good day. Thanks for reading!

    First, what's fake sinnoh
Second, I grew up on gen 4, I watched the show and had a few toys of some of the pokemons. Even though years passed I still feel a connection to what I liked back when I was younger so having the legendaries I wanted to have on my "dream team" never changed. Unless I am doing a challenge run of a game I will most likely try forming my old dream team again for the memories. When you look at the pokemon games in general they aren't that difficult because they are supposed to be played by kids so using an overpowered pokemon when casually playing the game feels ok to me

Depends. Usually I only add them if they actually fit my team composition, and if I’m doing a nuzlocke I don’t add them

In Diamond and Pearl, you can glitch the game out with a process known as tweaking. From what I've heard, riding your bike in a specific spot and changing directions quickly will cause the game to load a void nearby. Travelling through the void for ~65536 steps (takes near an hour) will take you to the edge of the map, and will also load a new map of Sinnoh different from the one you started in. This is Fake Sinnoh. In this region, riding the bike to the location of Newmoon Island or the Flower Paradise allows you to encounter Darkrai and Shaymin respectively. I think you can also go to a version of the Spear Pillar where you can encounter Arceus. This is the only way to access these pokemon without cheat codes and if you missed the events 10 years ago.

Edit: Just realized these 3 pokemon aren't legendaries but you know what I mean

I slap down that level 100 japanese dialga and go wreck the entire region's endgame content.
