Warrior/Knight Help Can This Solo Li?

Also how exactly does life steal work I am kind of confused despite looking it up several times

 

Life steal has a percent chance of activating per hit depending on the attack speed of the weapon (and + or - tier ID’s)
The higher a weapons attack speed the lower chance per hit of activating lifesteal

Chance for life steal/mana steal per hit

Super Fast: 5.8%
Very Fast: 8.1%
Fast: 10%
Normal: 12.2%
Slow: 16.6%
Very Slow: 30.1%
Super Slow: 49%

 

wait so then should I not be doing a tierstack and life steal build because tierstack hurts life steal?

 

no its fine. atleast you get some sustain, doesnt matter if it doesnt proc as often

it's just that life steal works even better with a heavy melee build

 

sorry I'm new - when you say sustain you mean i can stay alive with it? even though it's only an 8% chance of like 1200 lifesteal over 4 seconds every hit? and also what does proc mean

 

proc means that something activates

and with superfast you just have to click as fast as you can (4.3 hits per second)

 

Not 8% over 4 seconds, 8% chance per hit. All attack speeds have roughly the same chance to activate life steal over 4 seconds

EDIT:
The reason Weeb says lifesteal works better with heavy melee is because it is super reliable at super slow speeds, so even if you are not attacking every moment you can hit once and still reliably activate ls. Conceptually though, both heavy melee and tierstack have the same chance to activate lifesteal over 4 seconds since they have the same %chance over 4 seconds, you just have to be hitting for the full 4 seconds with tierstack to reliably activate lifesteal.

You should be able to, I have tons of warrior builds that can solo LI though, so if ya need another I got some.
