Warrior/Knight Knucklebones!‽?

I was looking at the standard warrior horseman build, and wondering what the main benefits of being on a horse are. In my mind they were:
No knockback
Mobility (infinite stamina/sprint)

Looking at the 0 spell damage because of Necrosis made me realize that in a horseman build like this, mana doesn't really matter. With that and the looming Necrosis nerf in mind, I have attempted to make a similar build without Necrosis, using the dreaded Knucklebones.
This is the build I came up with.
The damage is a bit lower, however it is slightly higher than the build above post update, even assuming a best case scenario negative main attack and 4 tiers attack speed on your Necrosis.
It has lower hp, but significantly higher defense, + greed.

I'd love to know what you class builders think. Is this a viable use of knucklebones? Where can i improve it?

 

can you pick up emeralds while on horse? never tried it
