Idk How To Craft Stuff

can someone just give me a general guide or idea of what crafting is and how it works?

 

If you are a new player and dont have a lvl 100 class: DONT do professions. They are a massive grind.
If you already have a lvl 100 class and really want to waste your life with professions:

I mean... if I havent been clear enough... DONT do professions if you havent played the whole game.

 

Don't craft it, it is just endless grind that id not worth it

Do not do professions as your first playthrough as others have said. It will ruin your fun as the amount of grinding you need to do for professions far outweighs the amount of grinding you need to do to level up your combat level and obtaining gear combined. Only do it on your secondary playthroughs or go back to professions after your first playthrough if you feel like grinding.
