Music Note Block Music Midi Recorder Forge Mod

Hello!
I made a Forge mod to rip Wynncraft music into MIDI files.
This is very similar to another thread where TheKneesnap recorded the music to nbs files (I can't post link as this is my first post).
But I actually have no lag and have the ability to create piano tutorials.

Am I allowed to share the MIDI files I record? I'd give credit next to the download link.

I created a Youtube playlist on my channel called Wynncraft Piano Tutorials and I will be uploading piano tutorials there, you can request songs too (I will be looking at Youtube more frequently). Tell me Wynncraft team if you don't want me to share the midi files (as they are 1:1 replicate of the whole piece).

Great mod! However, I tried it and it wouldn't work on my machine. I looked in the console logs and found out it's using illegal characters for the file name. I have opened an issue with a potential solution in the code to the problem. When I got a local build working with my fix, it works really well!

 

Thank you for trying it! I didn't think of that when choosing the filename :D. Thanks for the fix too, I added it to master.

 

Just watched your pre-light forest theme, absoltely love it. Now ima try learn it as a non octopus small nosed human!
