Like, im confused, what do you do in this game?

so its a game about lore nerds basically
so there is a server that exists for ppl to find out the lore
its kinda like destiny

 

you can do whatever you like
lvl all your classes, do every quest, pofessions or unlock all the discoveries
you could set it as a goal to reach the walkspeed gap or find mythics
maybe you're a community person who likes to chat to guild mates or all over the forum and in discord
perhaps you want to challenge yourself and set some rules for yourself while doing LI or EO

its really comes down to what you want, even if its everything listed above or something else entirely

 

It's an MMORPG.

You choose from five different classes that have different spells and ways to play. Archer, Mage, Warrior, Assassin and Shaman.

You travel through the entire map fighting undead mobs and other types of mobs. Also completing quests to level up your character and get in game currency (emeralds).

Learning the lore in this game is a necessity in my opinion, if you don't follow it at all you will be wondering why are you playing it. Seriously, lore is the biggest thing is this game. In fact, a document created by the community about the lore is 70 pages long.

 

There are many things you can do in Wynncraft. The game is an MMORPG. There is a large, open world that you are free to explore. Wynncraft has a lot to offer, ranging from doing quests, running dungeons, discovering the lore of the world, battling challenging enemies, finding new gear and making builds, doing professions, or just exploring the world. These are only to name a few. You are not required to do everything or some certain things, the adventure you go on is made by you yourself.

In general, it is heavily recomenned to do all/most quests on your first playthrough to fully experience the game. It is also not that recomenned to do professions before reaching endgame, as they are 100% unrequired for other things, and are one HELL of a grind.

 

Or if you wanna get rich you can lootrun, grind stuff, or trade and do fun comunity events
Also buy warp so you can fly forever

 

yes, the lore is an important part of the game's world, and i personally am very interested in it, but i would not call it a necessity to know througohly by any means.

The document you are referring to (i think) is over 50% made up/theorized. It still goes to show how expansive the lore is.

We totally could do it facts-only if we weren't too lazy. Now we have to wait until 1.20 comes out so it isn't outdated too soon

 

You walk around
You beat up some dead bodies
You jump into a cave and discover a universe-class threat
You grab weapons from the dead
You become god
You destroy god with the power of friendshipn't because finding people to do EO with is too damn hard

That's what you do in this game

 

Interesting that a lot of people are saying lore is the most important thing cause I think it's probably the one of the most under-developed areas of the game. Granted, the bits that are there are interesting.

 

The 2 things are not contradicting themselfes. Yes, they are the most important aspect of the game (learned through quests and exploration) but also really underdeveloped and often forgotten about

The community is not toxic, maybe apart from guilds :blobsweat:. The wynncraft community is honestly one of the best video game communities I have seen.

kinda, but hsb is just grind, this is not (apart from profs).

And I must say, the quest mechanics, dungeons, combat and so on are MUCH better than HSB's. You should not underestimate them.

 

Except guilds (which I am not really interested in but from what I heard they are a bit) there is almost no toxicity.
