My Opinions On 1.20

remember: this is all only my opinions!

Raids: They look great! New randomized challenges, new loot, content, I just love this!

Housing: A lot of people say that housing is useless but imo this is good thing, being able to build something in Wynn and chill there sounds amazing even tho its not going to be useful.

New quests: They look amazing! I love the fact that we are finally getting RoL revamp, Siegfried questline and potential continuation to Mixed Feelings. This image is probably hyping me the most
wow, just wow

Reworked builds: I like them, they feel like old builds but better exept Cinfrass....why does it look like light EO town? why? And this probably means that Letvus airbase is also changing and idk if I like it, I love the current one. I must say that I love new realm of light (I think it is new realm of light, this flower biome), the current one looks a bit like mushroom realm

Reworked guilds: It looks like guilds will finally be important instead of just big parties with xp lvl, I like this change but Im not as hyped as for other things

forgery chest: before trailer it was very epic, after trailer and raids its still nice but I will probably do more raids than corrupted dungeons
they are still going to be nice thing to do

champion rank: Honestly idc that someone will be able to find bombs easier or do other things few seconds faster, I feel like there is too much negativity about this thing compared to other parts of update, update which adds features players asked for so long

 

Giant floating island above every town is totally not disrupting...
Except that it could be nice

Does this mean they are becoming necessary (if you aren't in one you have big disadvantage)?

 

1. I nearly sure that you will only see your island when you are on it and only you can see it
2. it looks like if you arent in a guild you wont notice anything new but if you are in one it will be much more interesting

 

Until they confirm it I won't take it as a fact

I fear that small guild will be screwed over even more than now, but we will see in the full changelog...

 

With housing, in the trailer there was a rainbow air balloon next to the island, just like the one in the void islands.
I'm not sure what this implies, but I think it might mean that housing isn't physically there...

 

I dont think they would add giant floating islands above every city... that would look horrible and I wouldnt like that at all. I think if you enter the hot-air-baloon you get connected to another server (like the war servers) and on that other server is the floating island and your house. What do you guys think how they did the housing islands?

 

Actually that is a really nice solution.
Again. If the island won't appear when you don't use them (aka normally playing) I don't really have that big problem with them yet.
