Why Is Level Locked? And Is It A Discovery Or A Secret Discovery

    So i was trying to go to level 40 when i encountered a mini boss and defeated it when i defetaed it the spikes turned into ice i found out more and a cave opened and this message appeared can someone explain better?

    Some Secret Discoveries are level locked because they give XP that doesn't scale with level. If they were not locked then a level 1 could theoretically discover higher level ones and level up ~15 times
