Media Cryptic Wynncraft Twitter Post

If it is a script, we can't currently know what the message says. There are thousands of seven letter words with no duplicated letters, so guessing won't do us any good. I personally don't think it's a script, as the letters are really bulky and fluent, which is hard to recreate in-game.

Going from left to right, top to bottom, here are my thoughts on the individual glyphs. #1 looks like a P, though it could also be an R, assuming it's related to a real script. #2 seems to be secret.png, probably meaning wind. #3 looks like a flower, or a Y or a T. #4 resembles a wave to me. #5 looks like a flame, #6 something underground and #7 maybe a forest, I don't know.

My current theory is that the glyphs represent locations or regions where the Protectors roamed or were placed. The dots might indicate where the ones still somewhat whole are located, and I'm guessing #3 is the one in the CotL. #2 would be the one in the Void as seen in the video. It might also mean one of the Protectors is somewhere in the Ocean. They don't all have to be located in the Void, right?

It could mean something else entirely, of course. If you squint, you can read the phrase "PETA bad" in it. New quest confirmed?

 

Just woke up and the general consensus seems to be that this is another language. That means we might as try to translate it.

So far all we know is that:
- If each symbol translates to a letter, no letters are repeated.
- If that symbol we saw earlier also translates to a letter, that letter can't be used here either.

And there are some possible curveballs:
- We don't know if any of these symbols are punctuation
- We don't know if each symbol translates to more than one letter (but that would just be cruel)


I feel like if we want to translate this, we're gonna have to wait for another teaser.

 

Okay, so I think that this says "Part Two." It seems a little off but trust me, I think I may have evidence.
I'll update with more info.

And even more of my thoughts:

-The first "letter" looks like the symbol Wynn.
-The second "letter" contains what looks to be like a wynnic "A", maybe it means that this language (if it is a language) is similar to wynnic in a way?
-The third and fifth "letter "contain a dot with a hole in it, I don't think I've seen this anywhere in wynnic.
-The fourth "letter" looks like a two with a dot, that's all I have to say about that.
-The sixth letter looks more wynnic to me, with the commonly appearing "L" shaped symbol with a dot inside it. (The "L" shaped figure appears a lot of times in wynnic)
- The last letter reminds me of M, L, and J in wynnic, with the equal sign looking figure.
- This is all assuming that this is a new language and that it is a direct translation of english and none of what I am saying is likely to be correct.
-The symbols seem to be arranged in a way that presented as text, not just symbols something in particular.
-Maybe some of the symbols have a relation to the symbols of cities, although that's probably not the case.
-My guess is that "Part Two" could reference to gavel of course, and it seems likely that the CT would like to still keep the update a bit vague.

That's about all I have for now. I now feel like I'm going to be told many times that I'm very wrong, but I wanted to at least try something fun I guess I don't know.

From what we've seen from 1.20 teasers, a lot of Gavel things have been remade like the void and that one dojo quest, so the Gavel Expansion Part Two Update doesn't seem too off to me and it was also confirmed that 1.20 will not be adding a new major area (so no Fruma or Dern) so a remake seems probable. And what would be better to remake than the highly requested Gavel Revamp. Along with that, the image could be featuring a Gavelian language or something further hinting towards the idea.

 

Since the other hero that we hear about is Siegfried, since we already have a back-story for Bob, maybe his is next.

If it's a polyalphabetic substitution cipher as most people think, then it can't be "Part two", since that has repeating letters. If it has its own words or set of sounds, then maybe, but at that point it would be a complete guess.

 

I suppose symbols could be used as capital letters, but given how wynnic doesn't use those, this one probably wouldn't either for convenience.

 

It's the ultimate endgame boss teaser; it says "Dern rat"

 

I've said this in many threads before but it seems that still not everyone got it.

The parts of the fallen protector are not at all spread around a new void like area. They are in fact spread around a part of the void that has been out all the time just that it was rather hidden so very few people actually know it. So if you want to give it a try just go to Ahmsord, take the lift down to the Void and head south to the area called "???" on a sign. You'll find yourself in the area where the sneak peak trailer has been recorded with only the slight changes of the fallen protectors parts and the one rainbow thing beeing different. Have fun exploring :)

Looks like a wisp-y glowing sort of language. It also looks like it's glowing, like light in a shadowy backdrop. If the next update were to be light related, it'd make sense that the teaser would be a sliver of light in a dark environment.

 

Revamped Void.

U outta be kidding me I searched the current void for 2 AND A HALF HRS AND ALMOST DIED MULTIPLE TIMES while flying with my MANA STEAL shaman trying to find clues for something like the fortress

I did find some weird islands near the supposed edges of the current void but barrier blocks said and I quote:

The p looking thing might be an indication of “positive”, and if any combination of 3 character positive coords leads to a certain part of the map, it might mean that said place may hold certain significance to the update

OR....

Only 2 characters don’t have dots in them, the first and last. This may signify a start and endpoint.

The other characters between those two do have dots, which might represent something.. maybe an ancient group.

The dots look like they go through a variety of changes, like this is trying to tell a story:

2-dot looks like it’s cradled or protected
3-something hand like tried to grab or capture the dot
4-this looks like a depiction of a snare trap
5-this character looks definitively hook-like, like something may be taking a bait
6-the dot looks like it’s cornered
