Lore/Story Reunited In Death

Spoiler: Chapter 1

[Wynn Province]
He took a deep breath as he looked upon the massive gate that led into to sewers of Ragni. The townsfolk had reported an evil force lurking around the sewrs, and their first thought was to send for him. Which was a very good idea, considering he was the most skilled hero in the province, Bob.
Bob looked as the shiny silver key in his hand, then at the gate in front of him. Those who had discovered the evil had locked it up within the sewers, which Bob now had the key to. Without any theatrics, he stepped towards the gate and the padlock that kept it tightly shut. He inserted the key into the lock and twisted it, causing the gate to unlock with a loud clank that echoed into the sewers.
Bob quickly made his way past the gate and into the sewers, or at least the several feet of marshy ground created by the massive amounts of water within the sewer. His boots made awkward squelshing noises as he walked, but Bob just ignored the sound. Then, as he finally stepped onto the solid ground of the stone brick sewers, he left the past of this place behind him. There's no turning back now.

Spoiler: Chapter II

The sewer tunnel stretched into the mountains for a very long time, and Bob's footsteps echoed in the tunnel as he walked. There was no light, and no contact to the outside world, meaning he had no choice but to go forward. Finally, the tunnel opened into a larger room.
Water poured down into the room from a vertical tunnel, and splashed into a pool in the center of the room. A few cracked pillars of stone poked above the surface of the water, and Bob nimbly jumped across them towards the other end of the room. There was a small ledge above the water, which Bob landed on. The filthy water flowed below the ledge, but Bob wasn't concerned about that anymore. What held his attention was the skeleton that stood on the bridge.
Almost as soon as he landed, the skeleton leapt into action, but by then it was far too late. As the skeleton swung its cutlass, Bob had already summoned his spear and charged at the skeleton. He drove it into the skeleton's skull, shattering the bone and bringin a second death to the necrotic creature.

Great looking story very well written! can't wait for more to come out :D

 

Either later in the story or within the first page you could mention Bob's past in the sewers since he was born there (I think). Good start.
My stories didn't quite get so many comments lol.
