Recover The Past - Question Regarding A Glitch.

Hi, a few months ago, I experienced a glitch while I was completing the Recover the Past quest, and it resulted in me becoming stuck and having to /kill myself. The stage of the quest that this happened at was just as I escorted Edwin up to the top of the Tower of Amnesia, and instead of teleporting me to the top of the tower, it teleported me inside the staircase, forcing me into the bottom of the tower, where I was stuck inside the room because of barrier blocks. At the time, I just did /kill as I already mentioned, and I made a bug report which was addressed, however, I still cannot complete the quest. Edwin is no longer at his coords, and if I click on Dr. Picard his dialogue just repeats "Are you getting my test subjects for me?" and in the quest book it just says 'bring Edwin back to Dr. Picard'. I am just wondering if there is any way I can fix this. I understand that it is unlikely there is any way to do so, and if that's the case, is there anything I would need later from the quest that I should know about?

 

This is a known issue which will be fixed when the next patch or major update comes out. No ETA on those, though.
