So, here's my theory on the timeline for the monthly update:

We know there's a store update coming which will raise the prices of the store items. So, it's likely that to ease people into this, there will be a sale when this is announced - and when is there next going to be a sale? Hallowynn. Now's let's assume that the sale lasts for a few days around the end of October (and going into November too probably). It would then be logical that the next big announcement is the announcement which explains all of the store changes and everything revolving around this. So, I would expect the monthly update to be around the end of October.

Further evidence for this theory: September's monthly update was later than the previous months, maybe that was to ease us into waiting until the end of the month so we didn't go too long between September and October monthly updates.

(This is when it drops in like 2 mins xD)

all we heard is a store update, not that as far as I'm aware? Could you link me where it says they're gonna increase prices? I was under the assumption they were going to add new things to the store not up the prices lol

 

Sale announcements and game updates are mutually exclusive: They post different threads for those
September's was on the third of Sep... so idk what you were smoking but they have set precedents for CT news at the third of every month
- This while not seen before an update is a pretty good indicator of an update coming out

 

It was only viewable by CT members on Sept. 3 though. For everybody else, it was only viewable since Sept. 17 or so.

 

Re-reading it, and it's occurred to me that it might just mean they're adding more stuff rather than raising the prices xD
But my point still stands, when better to introduce these new changes than during a sale? SO, I think Hallowynn is when we'll see the store changes along with the monthly update explaining the changes.

As I said in my first comment, this is just my theory on it. I'm speculating for fun :)

 

Salted stated outside of the forums that the store update and a smaller update to the game are coming at the sametime.

The smaller update will including the store changes, and the new dungeon chest thing.

 

It will come out on that one day when you forget to check forums

 

Time to start complaining about no news.
